Event-Trends 2023

Hintergrundbild

The event industry has now largely recovered from a long period of review caused by the Covid pandemic. According to a Hirschfeld survey of 442 event organisers, the focus of companies in the post-Covid period is increasingly on team-building events, company outings and Christmas parties. Summer parties also continue to play an important role.

The demand for online events has levelled off, but remains at a low level; around 14% of respondents also state that they organise online events. 72% of events are organised directly at the company location. In terms of lead time, the study found that around 37% start planning 3-6 months in advance, 19% a little earlier between 6 and 12 months and a further 37% plan at short notice with a lead time of one to three months. In addition to personal contacts and recommendations for artists, venues and service providers, internet portals such as Hirschfeld and event agencies also play a role.

In terms of the budget available, this is slightly more or at least as much as before coronavirus. Company health measures as events will also be all the more in demand in the future. Employees will therefore remain at the centre of attention, and incentives will also be very important.
